IBM Integration Bus IIB Developer (f / m / d)

Your profile / required skills:

Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in computer science or software engineering

2+ years of creating, maintaining, configuring IIB interfaces

Ability to write high quality code according to DB standards

Strong analytical skills

Good experience in IT processes

Ability to troubleshoot and solve production problems

Independent, customer-oriented and team-able personality with hands-on mentality

Has a solid knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)

Has a good/solid knowledge of the following Development Frameworks:  IBM Integration Bus v9+, IBM MQSeries

Has a good/solid knowledge of Oracle databases

Has a good/solid knowledge of the following productivity tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams

Previous experience in working in an agile environment is a plus

Very good English spoken and written (German is a plus)

Certification in agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban) desirable

Your tasks:

Identification of the requirements and needs of the customer as well as translation of these into an IT Services

Analyze requirements and provides development estimates

Build and create deployment notes, develop software product deployment & operating instructions

Collaborate with functional analysts and technical specialists to complete work, as required

Review of internal documentation

Create, maintain and take ownership over of the development and implementation of newer technologies for all interfaces

Ensure that all code changes are tracked and recorded through the groups change management process

Request feedback from customer that user acceptance criteria are met (for each development environment)

Support in project management activities and preparation of status reports
